
Arsenal striker Gervinho has talked up the prospect of Lille starlet Eden Hazard joining him within the Premier League, stating his former team-mate "has everything it takes to triumph in England".
Gervinho spent 2 years alongside Hazard at Lille, with the try winning the Ligue one title along last campaign. The young Belgian has since been linked with a move to a number of the largest clubs in Europe together with Arsenal, Chelsea, PSG, Inter and AC Milan.
"Hazard may be a young player with huge quality," Gervinho told French radio RMC Sports. "If he has determined to go away, it's traditional for clubs to have an interest, as he has the amount to triumph in England.
"Eden has learnt lots at Lille, and that i believe he may succeed abroad. Where he goes is up to the clubs. however it'll be an enormous operation."
Hazard last week declared he was able to leave France at the tip of this season with each Milan clubs reportedly contacting the playmaker throughout the last transfer window. The 20-year-old insists he won't move off from Stade Metropole in January, however Lille boss Rudi Garcia still questioned the timing of his star's comments.
"Hazard's words? I actually have no downside with the content," Garcia told France soccer. "He has solely repeated what everybody has known for a short while. The timing wasn't the simplest."
